A Sunset Mini :: San Antonio Teen Portraits

It rained today. I was so afraid that this session would have to be canceled - and the thought made me so sad! Instead, the skies were a perfect hazy, diffused, backdrop and the sun powered through for some amazing light.

Zane's Birthday | San Antonio Children's Photographer

If I was a nine year old boy this would be my dream birthday party! ABout 40 boys congregated at center field at the local high school football stadium and ran through a mini-combine earning points for the Aggies or Longhorns. The contest ended with a game of flag football and cake.

Talia & Co. | San Antonio Children's Photographer

What an adventure these four were! I have to say, looking through the pictures when I got home was such fun!

I started of with these guys while Momma was soothing and dressing the baby ... they were "helping me check my camera". Cutie Pies.

Then we went straight into this. I think this is one of the most AWESOME pictures ever. EVER. In the whole world. Thankfully, their momma saw the humor in it too. You've got the instigator-turned-passive-observer, the comforter, and the one who finds amusement in his screaming sister.

Then we finally got on to sweet Talia and her precious smile!

A few more with the boys... check out those personalities shining through again.

... and AWESOME is what these kiddos are! (I am so in love with the brotherly love going on here...)

Gabi's Quince :: San Antonio Quinceanera Portraits

Gabi has got to be one of the most poised and easy going girls I've ever met. Shooting her Quince portraits was so fun - she was such a trooper! Gabi and her mom chose Pearl Brewery and Stables, the new part of the Riverwalk, La Villita and Arneson River Theatre. We covered a lot of ground in two hours!  I had such a hard time picking a few to share...

What do you do when your amazing dress and crown attract tourist attention?

You just go with it! Elbow, elbow, wrist, wrist!
